VMIP / VM9000 Series

The award winning VXI Modular Instrumentation Platform (VMIP™) provides customers with a level of modularity for instruments that is unmatched in the industry. The VMIP™ makes a single VXIbus card slot three times more powerful than single device solutions. Each VMIP™ instrument can be mixed and matched with other VMIP™ devices for added flexibility.

The VMIP™ is designed for high performance instrumentation, i.e., 6.5 digit DMMs, 1 ns counter/timers, 50 MSa/s AWGs. As such, the VMIP™ design supports all aspects of the VXI specification including access to all seven power supply lines, TTLbus triggers, and interrupts. Each VMIP™ product is an independent VXIbus device with its own unique logical address (ULA) and VXIplug&play drivers

SMIP Series

VTI's SMIP™ signal switching series revolutionized the automated signal switching marketplace by providing a level of modularity, density, and performance for the VXIbus platform that other suppliers are finding hard to replicate.

The base units for signal switching in dc to RF frequency ranges consist of the SMP1100 single-slot base unit and the SMP1200 double-slot base unit. The SMP1100 can house up to two high-density switch modules, and the SMP1200 can house up to six high-density switch modules.

The EX7000 family is the industry’s first series of scalable microwave subsystems built on an open architecture Ethernet/LXI platform.This innovative family  of  products  simplifies the  development  of  custom   RFIU  requirements with its common hardware platform and software communications interface, while maintaining the look and feel of a standard COTS product.

Automated test system (EX1266)

The EX1200 series is the industry’s first LXI Class A switch/measure and control platform with a range of DC-RF switching and stimulus/measurement solutions in a 1U footprint.

All of VTI’s functional test solutions are based on industry standard platforms that have a history of long-term viability. Reliability, functionality, and ease of use have resulted in successes with our VXIbus products in programs such as the Atlas URCU, US Air Force VDATS and ADTS (B1B) test stations. Our ruggedized SVM series of VME-based switch modules are ideal for F16 flightline testing and any other harsh environment.
